রাসায়নিক সার ও কীটনাশকের অতিরিক্ত ব্যবহার নিরাপদ খাদ্য উৎপাদনের জন্য একটি বড় চ্যালেঞ্জ। মাটির স্বাস্থ্য রক্ষা এবং নিরাপদ খাদ্য নিশ্চিত করতে কৃষকদের নিরাপদ ও টেকসই কৃষি চর্চায় দক্ষ করে তোলা অত্যন্ত জরুরি।
এই লক্ষ্য বাস্তবায়নে বুরো বাংলাদেশ মাঠ পর্যায়ে নিয়মিত প্রশিক্ষণ, সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি এবং হাতে-কলমে প্রদর্শনীর মাধ্যমে কৃষকদের নিরাপদ ও পরিবেশবান্ধব কৃষি প্রযুক্তি গ্রহণে উৎসাহিত ও সক্ষম করে তুলছে। এসব উদ্যোগের ফলে কৃষকরা নিরাপদ খাদ্য উৎপাদন পদ্ধতি গ্রহণ করছেন, কমছে রাসায়নিকের ব্যবহার, সুরক্ষিত থাকছে মাটি ও পরিবেশ, আর ভোক্তাদের জন্য নিশ্চিত হচ্ছে নিরাপদ ও স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত খাদ্য।
