One of the finest Surgical Oncologists in Bangladesh is my respected and favourite teacher, Dr. Abdullah Al Hasan Sir. His excellence and dedication are truly inspiring. He is our asset — an asset to Bangladesh.

My respect for Dr Kabm Abdullah Al Hasan Sir will always remain profound. I must also mention Dr. Md. Nurujjaman Sarker Sir—together, they are true assets of Bangladesh, pillars of Surgical Oncology, and invaluable figures in advancing cancer care in our country.

Although my primary practice is in Surgical Oncology, I often manage benign cases as well. Recently, a poor security guard suffered an accidental injury. For two days he avoided seeking proper medical care and relied only on antibiotics from a local pharmacy. He eventually arrived with a traumatic wound complicated by myiasis.

Take-home message:
Medical treatment is not always expensive. Please consult a qualified doctor whenever you are injured or unwell. Proper care at the right time can prevent serious complications.
