Prime Bank Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rahela Osman Sikder Foundation to collaborate on providing affordable eye screening and treatment services at Prime Bank Eye Hospital. Located in Dhanmondi, this CSR initiative is equipped with modern facilities and staffed by renowned consultants. As part of the agreement, Prime Bank Eye Hospital will organize an eye camp each year in Matlab North, Chandpur, with the potential to conduct multiple annual camps.

The agreement was signed by Major Gen. Md Nayeem Ashfaque Chowdhury, PhD (Retd), CEO of Prime Bank Foundation, and Mahmuda Harun from the Rahela Osman Sikder Foundation.

Also present at the ceremony were Brig. Gen. ASM Mahmood Hasan, psc (Retd), Project Director of Prime Bank Hospital PLC (proposed); Al Aminuzzaman and Nasima Zaman from the Rahela Osman Sikder Foundation; Md. Jahangir Alam, Senior Program Officer at Prime Bank Foundation; and Mehetaj Iqbal Khan, Coordinator at Prime Bank Eye Hospital.

চাঁদপুরের মতলব উত্তরে প্রাইম ব্যাংক আই হসপিটালের বিনামূল্যে চক্ষু শিবির অনুষ্ঠিত

চাঁদপুরের মতলব উত্তরের বদরপুর সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে রাহেলা ওসমান সিকদার ফাউন্ডেশনের উদ্যোগে এবং প্রাইম ব্যাংক ফাউন্ডেশনের সহযোগিতায় দিনব্যাপী এক বিশেষ বিনামূল্যে চক্ষু শিবির সফলভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এই আয়োজনে এলাকার সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষকে বিনামূল্যে সার্বিক চোখের পরীক্ষা, চিকিৎসা ও পরামর্শ প্রদান করা হয়।

মহতী এই অনুষ্ঠানে অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সমাজসেবী, রাহেলার ওসমান সিকদার ফাউন্ডেশনের এ. টি. এম. আশফাকুজ্জামান খোকা সিকদার; বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী অ্যাডভোকেট মফিজুল আলম সরকার; নিউজিল্যান্ডের ভিক্টোরিয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক, বাংলাদেশ সিকিউরিটিজ অ্যান্ড এক্সচেঞ্জ কমিশনের সাবেক কমিশনার ও ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জের সাবেক এমডি এ. টি. এম. তারিকুজ্জামান সোহেল সিকদার; প্রাইম ব্যাংক পিএলসি-এর এডিশনাল এমডি জনাব নাজিম আহমেদ চৌধুরী; ইনভেস্টমেন্ট বাংলাদেশ-এর চেয়ারম্যান জনাব আশিক চৌধুরী, প্রাইম ব্যাংক ফাউন্ডেশনের সিনিয়র প্রোগ্রাম অফিসার মোঃ জাহাঙ্গীর আলম, প্রাইম ব্যাংক আই হসপিটালের কোঅর্ডিনেটর মেহতাজ ইকবাল এবং মতলব উত্তর থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মোহাম্মদ কামরুল হাসান।

অনুষ্ঠানে সাধারণ মানুষের দোরগোড়ায় এমন সেবা পৌঁছে দেওয়ার জন্য জনাব আশিক চৌধুরী প্রাইম ব্যাংক ফাউন্ডেশন, প্রাইম ব্যাংক আই হসপিটাল এবং প্রাইম ব্যাংক পিএলসি কর্তৃপক্ষের প্রতি গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। তিনি আশা প্রকাশ করেন, প্রতি বছর একইভাবে এই চক্ষু ক্যাম্প আয়োজন করা হবে এবং এই স্বাস্থ্যসেবা কার্যক্রম নিরবচ্ছিন্ন রাখতে আগামী ৫ বছরের জন্য একটি সমঝোতা স্মারক স্বাক্ষরে উদ্বুদ্ধ করেন।

Prime Bank Foundation has signed an MoU with Sena Insurance PLC to offer the company's employees and their families exclusive, affordable eye care services at Prime Bank Eye Hospital, a CSR initiative located in Dhanmondi equipped with modern facilities and renowned consultants.

The agreement was signed by Major Gen. Md Nayeem Ashfaque Chowdhury, PhD (Retd), CEO of Prime Bank Foundation, and Brig Gen Shafique Shamim, psc (Retd), Managing Director & CEO of Sena Insurance PLC.

Brig. Gen. ASM Mahmood Hasan, psc (Retd), Project Director - Prime Bank Hospital PLC (proposed); Md. Jahangir Alam, SPO - Prime Bank Foundation; Mehetaj Iqbal Khan - Coordinator and Arif Bin Aziz Chowdhury - BDE from Prime Bank Eye Hospital were also present in the occasion.

On 7th July 2026, Prime Bank Foundation (PBF) signed an Memorandum of Understanding with Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) at the Foundation's Head Office at Prime Tower, Nikunja 2.
Under this agreement, Prime Bank Eye Hospital, an initiative of Prime Bank Foundation will provide its eye care services to more underprivileged population at a lower price. The FPAB is renowned across the country and owns 21 well-equipped centers across 21 districts. This agreement is a stepping stone for both the organizations to serve the mass community and aware people of eye diseases and eye care.
The MoU was signed by Maj Gen (Retd.) Dr. Md Nayeem Ashfaque Chowdhury, CEO, PBF and Dr. Nurullah Awal, ED & Director Program, FPAB in presence of senior officials from both the organizations.
