đź’š "I taught the '30g protein limit' for years. Turns out I was wrong." đź’š

đź’Ş I used to repeat this too. Turns out, it was based on short 3-4 hour digestion studies from over a decade ago.

The newer research tells a different story.
A 2023 study by Trommelen and colleagues tracked what actually happens to protein over a 12+ hour window — not just the first few hours.
Here's what they found with a 100g protein dose:
Digestion doesn't stop at 30g. It slows down instead. Think of it like a funnel — a small dose passes through fast, peaks quickly, and finishes in about 6 hours. A large dose empties more slowly, releasing amino acids gradually, keeping muscle protein synthesis elevated for over 12 hours.
And the "wasted" part? Less than 15% of the amino acids were oxidized (used for energy instead of muscle). The vast majority went straight into building and repairing tissue.
So no, your body isn't dumping everything past 30g.
What this actually means for you:
You don't need to eat every 3 hours to "hit your protein windows." Larger meals are digested efficiently over many hours. What matters most is your total protein for the day — not obsessively small, frequent doses.
If you've been stressing over exact meal timing or protein caps per sitting, you can let that go. Focus on the daily number, and let your body do what it's actually built to do.
Comment "PROTEIN," and I'll send you guidance on structuring your daily intake without overcomplication.

🔥 Muscle Rule: Your Body Is Quietly Starving Its Own Engine🔥

➡️ Every gram of muscle you lose after 40 doesn't just vanish — it gets replaced by fat, silently, even if your weight stays the same. This is called sarcopenic obesity, and it's why the scale can lie to you completely.
➡️ The fix isn't more cardio. It's protein timing + resistance training, hitting muscle protein synthesis at the exact window your body needs it — roughly 25-35g protein within 2 hours post-workout. Miss that window daily, and your body defaults to breakdown mode instead of rebuild mode.

đź’Ş Your muscles aren't just for strength. They're your metabolic insurance policy.

🍂You didn't get worse at eating. Your insulin sensitivity did.🍂

➡After 40, your cells simply stop responding to insulin the way they used to —
⬇
so your pancreas works harder, glucose lingers longer, and
⬇
fat (especially around the midsection) becomes easier to gain and harder to lose.
➡➡➡ This isn't a willpower problem. It's a measurable metabolic shift — and one of the few things you can actually reverse with the right approach.

"NMN. Rapamycin. Collagen powders. The research says most of it does nothing."

✍️Biological age is measured using epigenetic clocks — tools that read chemical markers on your DNA to estimate how "old" your cells actually are, separate from your birth certificate.

✍️Here's what the actual studies show, not the ad copy: What has real evidence behind it:

🍀Plant-centered, polyphenol-rich eating. In one pilot randomized controlled trial, participants following a plant-centered diet plus sleep, exercise, and meditation support — while avoiding added sugar, trans-fats, grains, legumes, dairy, and alcohol — saw their epigenetic age drop by roughly 2 years on average, while the control group's biological age moved slightly upward over the same period.

🍀Folate and B-vitamins. These are essential cofactors in the metabolic pathway that generates methyl groups for DNA methylation, making them one of the clearer dietary levers researchers are studying.

🍀Correcting a vitamin D deficiency. In people with low vitamin D status, a 16-week course of 4,000 IU/day vitamin D3 was shown to lower one epigenetic clock reading by close to 2 years.

🍀Caloric restriction and omega-3s. A review of interventions tested against epigenetic aging clocks found calorie restriction and omega-3 fatty acids among the few approaches with a detectable effect on biological age estimates.

What doesn't hold up (yet):

🍀Nicotinamide riboside (NR) and rapamycin showed no detectable effect on epigenetic aging clock measurements in the studies reviewed — despite being two of the most heavily marketed longevity supplements right now.

🍀Collagen powders, "detox" blends, and most trending anti-aging stacks simply don't have controlled trial data behind them at all. No data isn't proof of failure — but it's not proof of anything, either.

✍️What the research is honest about:

Even the successful trials show notable variability between individuals — this doesn't work the same way for everyone.
The reductions reported, while real, are described as modest in magnitude — not the dramatic "reverse aging" headlines you'll see in ads.
Researchers in this field are explicit that further longitudinal studies and larger randomized trials are still needed — this is an active, evolving area of science, not settled fact.
None of the interventions that actually worked were diet alone. The successful trials paired nutrition with sleep, movement, and stress management — as a system, not a single hack.

✍️The real takeaway: biological age isn't improved by the trendiest supplement. It's improved by knowing which few things, specific to your biology, are actually worth doing — and skipping the rest.

✍️Comment "SCIENCE" and I'll send you the breakdown of how this translates into a real weekly plan.

Your biological age can be 10 years younger than your birth certificate. Or 10 years older.

I've seen clients' faces change the moment they saw their number.
Here's what most people get wrong:
👉👉 It's not fixed. Biological age responds to food, sleep, and stress — often within weeks, not years.
👉👉A test is a snapshot, not a plan. Getting the number is easy. Knowing which 3-4 changes actually shift it for your biology — that's the hard part.
👉👉 Generic "anti-aging" advice doesn't work. Supplements promise a lot. What actually moves the markers is boring, consistent, personalized nutrition.
👉👉If you've done a biological age test, the number isn't the value. What you do with it is.

>>>>Comment "AGE" — I'll send you the 3 biggest levers.

You've been disciplined for years. So why hasn't anything worked? The nutrition advice that's quietly sabotaging your hormones?.....
Stop blaming your willpower. The advice was broken, not you. If that actually worked, none of my clients would still be struggling after trying it for years.
Here's what most generic advice gets wrong:
