MARKS Medical College & Dental Unit Successfully Concludes Cultural Program 2026đ
MARKS Medical College & Dental Unit proudly concluded its Cultural Program 2026, celebrating creativity, talent, and cultural excellence through a vibrant three-day program.
The Program was officially inaugurated on 21 July 2026 by Brigadier General (Retd.) Professor Dr. Kazi Ashkar Lateef, Principal, MARKS Medical College & Dental unit. In his inaugural address, he emphasized that cultural engagement, leadership, and ethical values are essential components of medical education and play a significant role in shaping compassionate and competent future healthcare professionals.
Held from 21 to 23 July 2026, the three-day event featured enthusiastic participation from students across a wide range of cultural competitions, including Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet, Modern Song, Patriotic Song, Folk Song, Poetry Recitation, Bangla Debate, Solo Dance, and Group Dance.
The Program was attended by Prof. Dr. Md. Sayedul Hoque, Vice Principal, MARKS Medical College; Prof. Shariful Islam Bahar, Dental Unit Chief, MARKS Medical College & Dental Unit ; Prof. Dr. Nishat Farhana Khan, Professor & Head, Department of Community Medicine and Public Health, MARKS Medical College Hospital ; along with department heads, distinguished faculty members, administrative officials, and students. Their valued presence and active participation reflected the institution's strong commitment to promoting cultural excellence alongside academic achievement, making the three-day event a remarkable success.
