Every season comes with their dramatic natural beauty specially the winter welcomes migratory flocks & creates a heaven . Apart from study, student can find many clubs here to get indulge with and thus getting a chance to develop a particular skills and exhibit their non academic abilities. Among many active clubs, Jahangirnagar University Photographic Society (JUPS) is one of them. Jahangirnagar University Photographic Society (JUPS) started it's journey in 16th dec ,2013 to represent our amazing natural beauty & rich cultural heritage of Jahangirnagar University by photographs.In 2013 through a small meeting at Selim Al Din Mukto Moncho .We, Md Habibur Rahman(CSE,39) ,Md Rashedur Rahman(Pharmacy,39),Ipsh*ta Humayra(Urban & Regional Planning,39),Shawon Zoarddar(Environmental Sciences,39),Md Rafiqul Islam Onik(Drama & Dramatics,39) ,Muztoba Rabbani(Physics,40),Thouhid Tushar(Goverment Politics,40),Md Rashidul Islam Rabby(Physics,41), Tanuja Tanmim Anni(IIT,42) ,Shahriq Hasan(Economics,42),Nasim Ferdous Kallol(Micorbiology,37),Ashis Datta(Zoology,38) initiated a unique platform for all the photographic enthusiast. Our honourable advisors Monowar Hossain Tuhin(Professor,Department of Zoology,JU),Tanjinul Hoque Mollah(Assistant Professor,Geography and Environment,JU),Sayed Abu Tauab Shakir(Assistant Professor, Depertment of History,JU),Mamun Or Rashid(Assistant Professor, Department of Bangla,JU) give their sincere support in our journey. From the beginning, JUPS organise different photography events such as Photo adda ,Photo walk ,Photo tour,Mobile Photography Exhibition,Picnic,Iftar,Photography Workshop, Reception of new batch,Nationla photography exhibition.Our most successful venture was national photography exhibition colors of life I and II .JUPS is a platform in where talented young photographers can showcase their creativity and a chance to expand their horizons even further. Finally JUPS would like to explore country's heritage & culture that includes tribal people,hand loom industries,fisheries ,natural resources,overall villagers activities,daily event of the day labourer.
