ESGO and ESGO ENGAGe are extremely pleased to announce that World Gynecologic Oncology Day 2026 will be under the patronage of the European Parliament!

Patronage is a way for the European Parliament to grant its non-material moral support to select “non-profit quality events with a clear European dimension.” (Read more on europarl.europa.eu!)

This recognition and support on such a high international level is extremely meaningful and a huge step in striking down the lingering stigma around cervical, endometrial, ovarian, v***ar, vaginal and other gyn cancers.

In addition, several Members of the European Parliament will also be personally supporting our event this year. We look forward to announcing their names soon! 🙌
