“Diversity in clinical trials is not a matter of symbolism. It is a matter of scientific validity and patient care,” Prof Jalid Sehouli, the president of ESGO, reminds us 🙌

At we are pioneering the implemention of the new Code of Conduct for Diversity in Gynecologic Cancer Trials.

ℹ️ Initiatives at ESGO 2027 will include greater attention to international & geographical representation among speakers & chairs, meaningful involvement of patients & patient advocates, improved accessibility & participation, & systematic consideration of different perspectives in the scientific programme.

We also encourage abstract submitters to consider the principles of the Code via the abstract submission guidance on diversity, inclusion and representation.
