1-Day Course / Service Period in June
Dear all,
Summer is in the air and Dhamma Pajjota is offering its summer program. As already announced earlier this year, the centre will start having 1-day courses onsite.
The first 1-day course will take place on
21 June 2026
from
10:00 to 17:00
and is open to all those who have completed at least one 10-day course with S.N. Goenka or his assistant teachers.
The course will be an excellent opportunity to refresh your practice and will be conducted by assistant teachers who will be available to answer meditators' questions.
During this 1‑day Vipassana course, we will use the original recordings from the Vipassana session of the major one‑day course that Goenkaji conducted at Dhamma Pajjota on August 10, 2002.
If you would like to register for the course, please apply via the course schedule.
Following the 1-day course, there will be a
Sit and Serve Period
from
21 to 30 June 2026
There is a lot to do at the centre these days and we are looking for many helping hands that will support the numerous tasks that we have on our to-do list.
The service period will be a good opportunity to work together with fellow meditators, enjoy the centre’s peaceful atmosphere and to strengthen your practice by regular meditation sessions.
Our Garden Team is looking for nature lovers to help them with mowing, pruning, weeding, pavement works, cleaning of walking paths and removing young shoots and trees.
The Household Committee is organising a large-scale sewing project:
The protective covers of the wide range of meditation cushion models need to be modified and the committee would like to assemble a team for this project. The work will be guided by a professional seamstress. Not all tasks require sewing experience.
Do you enjoy performing precise and accurate tasks?
Would you like to assist with measuring or cutting fabrics?
Or can you sew, and do you have your own sewing machine that you could bring to the centre?
You are warmly invited to join.
And, as always, you are very welcome in the Kitchen, where you can help prepare meals for all helpers on site.
Join us for as long as you have time — one, two, three or more days, or even just a few hours.
In addition to your work, you will take part in the regular group sittings, and in the evenings, there will be the opportunity to watch videos about Vipassana and Dhamma.
If you are interested, please apply via the course schedule using the Dhamma Service application form.
Further information about Dhamma Service can be found in the old students’ section at www.pajjota.dhamma.org.
We look forward to seeing you!
