Evolve ~ Breath & Body was created by Natalie Keany in 2016. Supporting you to become YOU. All events and sessions are held with a trauma-informed approach.

A modality dedicated to trauma growth and somatic healing through the skillfull implementation of trauma informed breathwork. Natalie is a London based practitioner, also offering breathwork and embodiment practices in sessions, retreats, trainings and workshops around the world. She supports clients to transform into a healthier, more vibrant version of themselves. Over the past 15 years, Natalie

has participated in several, breath orientated trainings and mentorships over the years - Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release (BBTR), Quantum Light Breath, Inspirational Breathing, Biodynamic Intuitive Breathwork, Soma Rasa, Pranayama and Breathing in the classroom. She has a passion for guiding others in how to utilise the breath in several ways to support body, mind and spirit, regardless of age, circumstances or physical ability. Her work is often combined with a complementary body of work such as yoga or artistic expression. Alongside Evolve Breath & Body, it is her honour to work with the Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release Institute as a training facilitator, supporting one-to-one sessions and facilitating their events around the world.

I’ve never owned a car. Never owned a house. Never built the family that was handed to me as the blueprint.

Instead I was gifted with an insatiable love of travel and a passion and purpose in Breathwork.

I was 19 yrs old on a flight to Rotterdam, sitting next to a man named Claudio, a conservationist who worked with Komodo dragons. 28 years later I still remember him. A man who followed his passion. A man who planted a seed of inspiration. Ignited a spark. A reminder that travel becomes even more beautiful when we can help others along the way with our tools and skills. A reminder that you can create your reality and do whatever you love in life.

We received great feedback from our last event, so I will be collaborating with to facilitate 4 more free online events throughout September for women survivors of domestic abuse, and women who could use some support right now.

Common forms of domestic abuse (and not limited to) include…

-physical abuse
-psychological and/or emotional abuse
- Coercive control
- Financial and economic abuse
- Sexual abuse

seems to be the word of 2026 for me.

Left London for Italy early yesterday, but SNCF wasn’t playing along with my plans. So I got to spend a night in Nice.

Met a man who made incredible beach art with stones, promoting harmony and kindness. Walked the promenade for sunset. Strolled the streets of the harbour and old town, ate like a queen and slept like a log.

the mission continues. here I come 🚀

The Art of Retreat is an invitation to remember who you are beyond your everyday roles and routines - and to do it somewhere breathtaking.

THE JOURNEY

From the ancient streets of North India to the peaceful foothills of the Himalayas, this retreat moves between two worlds - exploration and restoration, outward wonder and inner stillness.

THE PRACTICE

Different wellness options are offered each day . Malika will guide gentle yoga and Yoga Nidra practices - deeply restoring and calming.

Natalie’s somatic breathwork sessions offer something different: a way back to yourself. Beyond the roles you play, the beliefs you carry, the shape your life has taken. These sessions are held with care and with depth, with a focus on expansion, joy and reconnecting to your aliveness.

Between practices, we immerse ourselves in the life and spirit of the area.

THE EXPERIENCE

This is not a retreat that keeps you indoors.

We walk through local villages. We share a traditional Kangri Dham Thali - a feast that represents the warmth of this region. We visit monasteries. We will spend some time gathered around the bonfire. We watch a Gaddi dance performance and try our hand at local wood painting.

Malika has woven together experiences that go beyond tourism - moments of real encounter with a culture that has its own profound relationship to wellness, contemplation, and community.

“The path to Natalie Keany’s studio feels like crossing into another world. Just metres from the glass towers and traffic of London’s Southbank is a pocket of improbable greenery, where palms, bamboo and flowering trees soften the Victorian brickwork. It was there, in January 2025, that I came to meet Keany, a breathwork practitioner and trauma-informed facilitator.

An old friend had spoken about her sessions with Keany in the way people speak about life-changing books or pilgrimages. “You should try it,” she told me. “Something will shift.” Though I wasn’t quite sure what needed shifting.”

An excerpt from a recent documentary I participated in, in collaboration with the London Film School.

Over a series of sessions I worked with a young woman who was seeking a deeper connection to her body and feelings. Throughout our time together, we used the somatic Breathwork to take her on a profound journey of transformation to meet all the parts of herself she had lost connection to.

As she reunited with these parts of herself, she was able to access the tenderness and the softness she had been missing in her own life.

It’s incredibly common for us humans to disconnect, numb out, and build protection and avoidance strategies as a way not to feel. And eventually, as in this case….it can eventually start to manifest in the physical body as pain, discomfort, or even as destructive behavioural /thought patterns.

Here we use a gentle therapeutic and somatic based Breathwork. The slow pace meant that the client never became overwhelmed at any stage, but was able to stay present to her process and access her inner wisdom, finding answers and guidance to move forward in life, while feeling the full spectrum of her human experience. She was also able to release the physical holding pattern and pain she had been experiencing.
