I've spent my entire career sitting with people — veterans, trauma survivors, men and women alike — who are carrying pain they were never given permission to name.
What I keep coming back to is this: the rules we inherit about who gets to feel what cost us. They cost men the language for their own interior lives. They cost all of us the depth of connection we're actually craving.
This conversation with Good Pain goes to some of those places. We talked about masculinity, vulnerability, what feminism actually means when you strip away the noise, and why joy and pain are not opposites — they're the same doorway.
If you've ever wondered why real connection feels so hard to find, I think this one is worth your time. New episode out now.
