With a truly international membership, the BCT is a great place to make friends for you and your children. BCT is Belgium’s leading source of pregnancy and parenting information in English. We have provided prenatal and postnatal support to (expectant) parents since 1978. We are member based. We are the largest International family community in Belgium with members from over 70 countries. This is

the official BCT page. BCT is an entirely volunteer-run non-profit organization that provides help, support, and friendship to expectant parents and families in Belgium. Our services cover pregnancy information and prenatal courses facilitated by certified antenatal teachers and peer-to-peer postnatal support. We also organize year round events and activities where our members can socialize, share ideas and concerns, and make friends. Our courses, services, and events are an invaluable resource for English speaking families and parents-to-be, in the greater Brussels area. We also provide continued support throughout their wonderful journey of parenthood. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who are all members and parents themselves. They are hosting playgroups most days of the week at our beautiful Clubhouse in Ixelles. They are also organising regular meet-ups and play dates in various local neighbourhoods in Brussels and beyond. They are providing information, peer-to-peer support such as our babywearing service, cloth nappy information or sling library, and encouragement by phone and email, as well as they organise our free Members’ library with about hundred selected books on pregnancy, child development and parenting plus a range of children books.

Seller registration is now open!

Our NEARLY NEW SALE is a great opportunity to sell & buy quality-checked items for pregnancy, baby & children.

The beauty of this sale for@sellers is that they don’t have to be at the sale in order to sell. BCT does it for you! Everything is organised beforehand with our many volunteers who are seller’s contact persons and who are located all over Brussels.

We want our members to stay with us as long as possible. Why?
Because experienced members are an important part of our community and only with them we can provide all the support and friendship to new parents and families that makes us so special.

Having a baby fundamentally changes your life, and being connected with other parents in the same phase is incredibly important.

There's so much to learn, so many questions to ask, so many uncertainties to overcome. And perhaps there are also frustrations to deal with, tears to shed, and anger to release.

You are not alone! We've all been there and whatever might bother you, chances are there fellow parents in our community who went through something similar and are happy to listen, to help with practical tips, share their experiences - and cheer you up😉

Making sure it's at hand when needed! Here's all we do to provide support to new parents in the early days put together in one brochure that members can download directly from our app on Twizzit.

We've got an Early Days Support Team, a Feeding Support Team, a Babywearing Supporter, a Cloth Nappy Supporter, our TENS and Valley Cushion rental service. Of course there are playgroups at the Clubhouse, like Bumps & Babies, our Talks on Early Parenting and the amazingly resourceful chats in our WhatsApp community (New Mums, Dads). All these services are offered for FREE to BCT members.
