Welcome to Episode 7 of The Wrong People.

In this episode, Shevki Deyanov and Dr. Todor Kunchev explore one of the most discussed—and often misunderstood—topics today: mental health.

What does mental health actually mean?
Is mental health simply the absence of mental illness?
Why do some people struggle while others seem resilient?
And how do psychology, neuroscience, biology, lifestyle, and environment interact to influence our well-being?

From stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout to resilience, coping, and psychological growth, this episode examines mental health through the lenses of psychology, neuropsychology, and neuroscience.

We discuss common misconceptions, the impact of modern life on the human mind, and why taking care of mental health should be viewed as a normal part of taking care of overall health.

No toxic positivity.
No miracle cures.
No social media psychology clichĂŠs.

Just honest conversations about the human mind.

🧠 Topics include:
• Mental health and well-being
• Stress and resilience
• Anxiety and depression
• Burnout and modern life
• Brain health and psychology
• Coping strategies
• Neuropsychology and mental illness
• Myths about mental health

🎙️ Hosted by Shevki Deyanov & Dr. Todor Kunchev
🌍 Subtitles available in English, Bulgarian, and Turkish

Sleep is not simply the time when nothing happens.

It supports attention, learning, memory, emotional regulation and the body’s ability to recover from daily demands.

When sleep is disrupted, people may notice:

• greater irritability
• reduced concentration
• stronger emotional reactions
• difficulty making decisions
• lower tolerance for stress
• slower thinking or forgetfulness

Sleep also does not need to be perfect before it deserves attention.

Rather than judging one difficult night, it may be more useful to observe the broader pattern:

How restored do you feel?

How regular are your sleep and wake times?

What tends to happen before a difficult night?

What habits, stressors or environmental factors may be involved?

Persistent sleep difficulties can have psychological and physical causes and may deserve professional assessment.

What disrupts your sleep most: stress, screens, schedule, noise or racing thoughts?
