Does chronic endometritis always resolve after a standard course of doxycycline?
According to Prof. Ruben Kuon, not necessarily.

In this video, he discusses the importance of assessing treatment success after therapy. Based on experience from thousands of biopsies and follow-up biopsies, persistent chronic endometritis was found in approximately 25% of patients after a course of doxycycline.

This year, Prof. Kuon will join the faculty of the 10th Annual Conference “Recurrent Pregnancy Loss & Human Reproduction 2026”, taking place virtually on 25–26 September 2026.

His new lecture will focus on:
“New AI-Based Care Models for Women and Couples After Pregnancy Loss”
And this is only one part of a broad two-day scientific program. When does treatment for recurrent pregnancy loss help — and when might it expose a patient to unnecessary risk?

In this highlight from our 2025 conference, Prof. Siobhan Quenby discusses the use of low-molecular-weight heparin in women with recurrent miscarriage. While evidence supports its use in specific conditions such as antiphospholipid syndrome, she explains why routine treatment in inherited thrombophilia is not supported by the same evidence and requires careful risk–benefit assessment.
