The ENMESH Mental Health Conference was an incredible opportunity to present the latest version of our AI-powered Psychological First Aid (PFA) application for first responders.
The system provides case-specific guidance within seconds, helping responders support individuals experiencing acute stress reactions and psychological shock directly at the scene. By combining evidence-based PFA principles with AI, the app delivers immediate, tailored recommendations during some of the most challenging moments of crisis response.
We were also excited to share preliminary findings from our ongoing evaluation:
📊 First responders who used the app’s recommendations reported an 84% reduction in Acute Stress Reaction (ASR) symptoms following the intervention.
While further research is underway, these early findings highlight the potential of AI not to replace human responders, but to strengthen their ability to provide timely, evidence-informed psychosocial support when every second matters.
A sincere thank you to everyone who attended the session, asked thoughtful questions, and contributed to the discussion about the future of AI in mental health and emergency response.
The intersection of technology, mental health, and humanitarian support is advancing rapidly (!!) and we are only beginning to see what is possible.
