RCT of a lower left second molar, 3.7

Long and calcified... 25 beautiful millimetres of gaining patency 😬.

During shaping the ML canal, a 20.04 file separated into a deep split which I did not know of and during trying to bypass it, I got into a split. After shaping it, I bypassed the fractured instrument.

This procedure took 2 visits. The second visit took me 1.5 hours. Distal also had a split with 3 canals, 2 which joined at the middle third (MD and DL). Final shape for all canals was 30.04 except for the split which was bypassed and shaped up to a 15 k file.

All canals shaped using Orodeka Plex V files, Irrigation with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, activation with ultra X. Final irrigation with 17% EDTA.

Obturation method: WVC with AH26+.
