St Thomas Orthodox Christian Youth Movement , Kingdom of Bahrain St.Thomas Orthodox Christian Youth Movement is the first unit in Arabian Gulf and is one of the active spiritual organizations of our Cathedral.

The activities of this unit is as old as the age of our congregation. St.Thomas Orthodox Christian Youth Movement, a spiritual wing of St. Marys's Indian Orthodox Cathedral is the first unit in Arabian Gulf and is one of the active spiritual organizations of our Cathedral. The lifestyle of the youth in the Gulf may appear to be colorful, but in actuality they face a lot of difficulties and challen

ges. This unit is serving as a spiritual platform where all efforts will be made to share, care and thereby help in diminishing the pain of others and make aware of talents that the young bloods have. We are actively involved in various spiritual, cultural and social activities of the church. Regular meetings are held on every Saturdays at 9:00 pm. Devotional addresses, group discussions, Bible studies, quiz competition, etc. are the main activities of the regular meetings. Special Retreats, seminars, symposiums, Debates, Study classes, Medical camps and Conferences are frequently arranged by inviting eminent personalities and resource persons. In the year 2008, we have expanded our role in line with Holy Synod’s decision to include Women to regular meetings. This was a great achievement as it increased participation of young women in the church Forum and enable couples to attend the meeting as active members. We have won the President’s “Best Unit Award” & “Best unit Secretary Award” for our outstanding activities during the year 2006. We have hosted the 03rd Gulf Orthodox Youth Conference (GOYC) in Bahrain under the auspices of our Church in 2007. Contact E mail: [email protected]

Cottage Prayer - July Month

ബഹ്‌റൈൻ സെൻ്റ് മേരീസ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് കത്തീഡ്രൽ യുവജന വിഭാഗമായ സെൻ്റ് തോമസ് ഒ.സി.വൈ.എം (OCYM)-ൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ എല്ലാ മാസവും അംഗങ്ങളുടെ ഭവനങ്ങളിൽ വെച്ച് നടത്തിവരാറുള്ള "കോട്ടേജ് പ്രയർ" ജൂലൈ 12 ഞായറാഴ്ച ഭംഗിയായി നടത്തപ്പെട്ടു.

ശ്രീ. ജിനോ എസ്. തോമസിന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ വെച്ച് നടന്ന പ്രാർത്ഥനാ യോഗത്തിൽ ബഹു. ക്രിസ് സെബി അച്ചൻ നേതൃത്വം നൽകുകയും വചനസന്ദേശം അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യുവജന പ്രസ്ഥാനം ഭാരവാഹികളും, അംഗങ്ങളും കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളും പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

The monthly "Cottage Prayer" organized by St. Thomas Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (OCYM), the youth wing of Bahrain St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Cathedral, was successfully held on Sunday, July 12th.

The prayer meeting, hosted at the residence of Mr. Gino S. Thomas, was led by Rev. Fr. Kris Sebi, who also delivered the devotional message. Office bearers, OCYM members, and their families attended the prayer session

Bed Sheet Collection Inauguration - Harvest Festival 2026

സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് കത്തീഡ്രൽ യുവജന വിഭാഗമായ സെന്റ് തോമസ് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ യൂത്ത് മൂവ്മെന്റിന്റെ (STOCYM) ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ, ഹാർവെസ്റ്റ് ഫെസ്റ്റിവൽ 2026-ന്റെ ഭാഗമായി നടത്തുന്ന ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റ് കളക്ഷന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഉദ്ഘാടനം ജൂൺ 26 വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച നടന്നു.

വിശുദ്ധ കുർബാനയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം കത്തീഡ്രൽ വികാരിയും പ്രസ്ഥാനം പ്രസിഡന്റുമായ റവ. ഫാ. തോമസ്കുട്ടി പി. എൻ., ഒ.വി.ബി.എസ് (OVBS 2026) ഡയറക്ടറായി എത്തിച്ചേർന്ന റവ. ഫാ. ക്രിസ് സെബി എന്നിവർ ചേർന്ന് ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റ് കളക്ഷൻ ഫോം പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് ചടങ്ങിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.

തുടർന്ന് ചടങ്ങിലെ ആദ്യ ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റ് ശേഖരണം സിജു ജോർജ്, റോണി കുര്യാക്കോസ് ബെഹനാൻ, റോബിൻ കോശി, ടിജോ എബ്രഹാം, ജിജിൻ ജോർജ് എന്നിവർ ചേർന്ന് ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. ചടങ്ങിൽ കത്തീഡ്രൽ ഭരണസമിതി ഭാരവാഹികൾ, ഹാർവെസ്റ്റ് ഫെസ്റ്റിവൽ 2026 ഭാരവാഹികൾ, ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റ് കളക്ഷൻ കോർഡിനേറ്റർ, യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനം ഭാരവാഹികൾ എന്നിവരും സഭാംഗങ്ങളും പങ്കെടുത്തു.

St. Thomas Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (STOCYM), the youth wing of St. Mary’s Indian Orthodox Cathedral, officially inaugurated its bed sheet collection drive on Friday, June 26. The initiative is being organized as part of the upcoming Harvest Festival 2026.

Following the Holy Qurbana, Cathedral Vicar and STOCYM President Rev. Fr. Thomaskutty P. N., along with Rev. Fr. Chris Sebi, who joined as the Director of OVBS 2026, jointly inaugurated the drive by officially releasing the bed sheet collection form.

The first batch of bed sheets for the collection drive was received by Siju George, Rony Kuriakose Behanan, Robin Koshy, Tijo Abraham, and Gigin George.

സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് കത്തീഡ്രൽ യുവജന വിഭാഗമായ സെന്റ് തോമസ് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ യൂത്ത് മൂവ്മെന്റിന്റെ (STOCYM) ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച "പാപ്പന്റെ തട്ടുകട" വൻ വിജയമായി. OVBS 2026 സമാപനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ജൂലൈ 3-ന് ബഹ്‌റൈൻ കേരളീയ സമാജത്തിൽ (BKS) വെച്ചാണ് തട്ടുകട നടത്തപ്പെട്ടത്.

ബഹ്റൈൻ സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് കത്തീഡ്രലിന്റെ യുവജന വിഭാഗമായ സെന്റ് തോമസ് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ യൂത്ത് മൂവ്മെന്റ് (STOCYM), ലോക രക്ത ദാന ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് തങ്ങളുടെ 28-ാമത് രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പയിനായ 'സിംഫോണിയ 26' (Symponia '26) സൽമാനിയ മെഡിക്കൽ കോംപ്ലക്സ് ബ്ലഡ് ബാങ്കിൽ വച്ച് വിജയകരമായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.
