🇧🇯 Institutional Visit from the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Innovation (DGRSI)

We had the privilege of hosting a high-level delegation from the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Innovation (DGRSI) of Benin, the governmental body responsible for the design, coordination, and oversight of national policy in scientific research and innovation.

🔬 DGRSI plays a strategic role in defining priority research axes, strengthening scientific disciplines—including the promotion of women in science 👩🏽‍🔬—supporting the creation of centers of excellence 🏛️ and innovative laboratories 🧪, advancing quality assurance frameworks 📊, and fostering public–private partnerships 🤝 within the research ecosystem.

During the visit, we presented our mission, strategic priorities, and ongoing activities, followed by a guided tour of our facilities 🏢.

✨ This exchange reflects a shared commitment to advancing research excellence and innovation in Benin, and opens promising perspectives for strengthened institutional collaboration.
