🤝 AIRID et la Direction Générale de la Recherche Scientifique et de l’Innovation officialisent une nouvelle collaboration

🏛️ L’African Institute for Research in Infectious Diseases (AIRID) a le plaisir d’annoncer la signature d’un Accord-Cadre de Collaboration avec la Direction Générale de la Recherche Scientifique et de l’Innovation (DGRSI) du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique de la République du Bénin.

🔬 Cet accord traduit une volonté commune de promouvoir la recherche scientifique, l’innovation et la collaboration au service des priorités nationales.

🌍 Grâce à ce partenariat, l’AIRID et la DGRSI travailleront ensemble sur des domaines d’intérêt commun afin de renforcer la recherche et de favoriser la production ainsi que l’application des connaissances scientifiques.

🤝 AIRID and the General Directorate for Scientific Research and Innovation Formalise a New Collaboration

🏛️ The AIRID - African Institute for Research in Infectious Diseases (AIRID) is pleased to announce the signing of a Framework Collaboration Agreement with the General Directorate for Scientific Research and Innovation (DGRSI) of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Benin.

🔬 This agreement reflects a shared commitment to advancing scientific research, innovation, and collaboration in support of national priorities.

🌍 Through this partnership, AIRID and the DGRSI will work together in areas of mutual interest to strengthen research and promote the generation and application of scientific knowledge.

🤝 We were pleased to welcome Beverly Ochieng from Control Risks to the African Institute for Research in Infectious Diseases (AIRID), Benin.

🌍 Her visit provided an opportunity for valuable discussions on the vision of malaria eradication from an African perspective. As the continent most affected by malaria, Africa has an important role in shaping the research, innovation, and partnerships needed to achieve a malaria-free future.

🧪 We also showcased AIRID’s growing research infrastructure and discussed how it can support the development and evaluation of next-generation malaria interventions.

The **African Institute for Research in Infectious Diseases (AIRID)** is inviting applications for academic internships (MSc research projects) and professional research internships in infectious disease research.

🔬 Research topics include: malaria vaccines, vector biology, transfluthrin resistance, malaria vector control, and insecticide-treated nets.
