It´s Sep 1st and thank God we surpassed the 4 week timeline Drs mentioned initially, because we believe in our Dr of Drs Jesus has the final answer. Diagnosis is not a sentence and the desert is for crossing not to build our home... We are just navigating in a storm, building up faith and resilience.

Vivian´s travel to Danville 2x a week, her husband Gino takes her for the spinal tap procedure, which is very delicate and can be really painful, as it was excruciating on the first day.

Now they found a Dr with angel hands and heart - Dr E Leese that has been able to do the procedure in a very gentle way. We requested if she could be the one who always do it...
As the Drs alternate among them for practice.

Vivian arrives early for fluids and stay flat for more fluids afterwards and the next day.
Its a very specific approach to Her2+ cells in her spine liquid - Praying for complete response and cleansing. Its immunotherapy and we call HEALING MEDS, because thats the goal!

Healthwise: She still not able to walk, no control from her hips down, not feeling her left arm and hand, very dizzy, not hearing on her right side, difficulties swallowing... please KEEP PRAYNG for reversing ALL these...

Daughters coping as they can, we have been having great support from far and close friends and church. VERY Thankful.
i am here with her to help cook and care for 20 days.

On July 27th Vivian had a spinal tap to evaluate the liquid on the spinal cord. Results came back with rare cells. Drs did no said anything else. On July 29th the symptoms she was having ( not feeling her toes) increased and started to progress upwards. On Aug 9th she had to go to ER as she could not walk properly anymore, she was not feeling from her hips down) . After a couple of exams, she was transferred to Geisinger Danville PA. She spent 3 days there and among exams they found out a rare disease called Leptomeningeal with very poor prognosis but we believe that a diagnostic is not a sentence! God is in charge, we are just going through the Valey.

Now she still cannot walk and started trips to Danville for local radiation in the lower part of the spine and will start 2x week Herceptin spinal tap next week.
