Vemos pensar em nutrição? 🥦🥬🥒 RePosted • If you’re new to the space of Nutritional Psychiatry or just looking for a refresh, here’s a handy graphic of the 6 PILLARS OF NUTRITIONAL PSYCHIATRY.
It’s pretty much how it sounds, these are the basic foundational guidelines we use. They include…
🥗 Be Whole, Eat Whole. Stick to an 80/20 rule of mostly whole plant foods.
🌈 Eat The Rainbow. Different plants give you different nutrients and microbes so eat a diverse array.
🥬 The Greener, The Better. Greens contain folate, which is a critical nutrient for brain health.
🧐 Tap Into Your Body Intelligence. Eat mindfully and notice what foods make you feel good.
🗓 Consistency And Balance Are The Key! It’s more important to create a lasting lifestyle than a quick fix that is reversed just as quickly.
😖 Avoid Anxiety Triggering Foods. Primarily inflammatory foods such as processed foods can have negative impacts on your mental health. Listen to your body when you don’t have a good response.
