Hello Namibia!
Hello IUM an UNAM International University of Management UNAM Hage Geingob Campus
I am truly honored and excited to have the opportunity to visit Namibia and meet the students, faculty, and healthcare professionals of the International University of Management (IUM) on September 14th!
I am currently preparing what I hope will be an inspiring and meaningful lecture, where I will share not only medical knowledge, but also lessons learned through my journey as a physician, educator, and humanitarian.
Together, we will explore:
1. My journey from Brazil to Africa
2. What the skin reveals about a population
3. HIV and Dermatology
4. Albinism and Skin Cancer
5. Infectious Skin Diseases
6. Clinical Diagnosis in Resource-Limited Settings
7. What Brazil and Africa Can Learn from Each Other
8. How One Physician Can Transform a Community
More than a medical lecture, this will be a conversation about medicine, humanity, service, and global health.
I believe that although we come from different countries and cultures, we share the same mission: to alleviate suffering, promote health, and improve lives.
I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to meet you, learn from you, and contribute in some way to the advancement of our shared scientific knowledge and medical practice.
I look forward to meeting each of you in Windhoek and beginning this journey together.
Warm regards,
Dr. Diogo Rabelo
Doctor of the Nations
