Every year has its struggles but I'll admit that this year was one of the toughest. Leaving the familiar behind and practically starting again from scratch is difficult, but this time I was able to start with experience, a thought out plan and an energy that I didn't have on day one.
The number 6 has many meanings but I like the one that calls it symbolic of human effort - finite, prone to error and distinct from the divine realm. This is what it is to be human, to have to pivot suddenly, to think on your feet, to put in the effort behind your goals because that's the only way to accomplish them.
Soothe had its first client on Father's Day and here we are celebrating 6 years later on Father's Day - I think that that's pretty special.
