📍M A G N E S I U M
Magnesium is one of the ten essential metals in humans. It is necessary for reducing the risk of pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, uterine irritability, premature labor or preterm birth. Getting enough magnesium during pregnancy helps to prevent many pregnancy discomforts such as cramping, headaches, insomnia, and constipation.
🌾You can get your daily dose of magnesium from:
Wholegrains ➡️ quinoa, wholegrain rice, oatmeal and wheat germ
Nuts ➡️ brazil nuts, almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, peanuts and peanut butter.
Seeds ➡️ pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and tahini.
Legumes ➡️ baked beans, soya beans, edamame and lentils
