The Ministry of Health & Wellness, Wellness Unit hosted Spiritual Monday. Monday, October 5, 2026 @ 10: AM. Ministry of Health & Wellness, Head Office, Blake Road. Spiritual wellbeing is one of our key components that we focus on. We as human beings are made up of, spirit, soul, and body. We at the Wellness Unit takes a wholistic approach to wellness. Remember: "The Health of a nation is the Wealth of a nation."

The Ministry of Health & Wellness, Wellness Unit and the Chronic & Non-Communicable Disease Unit partnered with our "Wellness Within the Church" Initiative. We were at Salem Union Baptist Church, Taylor Street. We screened for High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, and Low Hemoglobin Levels. We also shared the importance of drinking more water and less sugary drinks. We shared wellness snacks also. Remember: "The Health of a nation is the Wealth of a nation," Sunday, 4th October, 2026.

The Ministry of Health & Wellness, Wellness Unit partnered with the Bahamas Alzhiemer's Association at the J. Henry Bostwick KC Fun Run & Memory Walk. We screened for High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, High Cholesterol and Low Hemoglobin levels. We also shared wellness tips and snacks. Remember: " The Health of a Nation is the Wealth of a Nation."
