We were spreading the wellness message, encouraging the community to limit the intake of the sugary drinks this summer. Encouraging our citizens that water is the best choice! The Ministry of Health & Wellness, Wellness Unit Champions from the East, West, North, and South Teams hosted, Wellness Pop-Ups. East Team was at Super Value, Prince Charles, West Team was at National Workers Co-Operative Credit Union, Harold Road, North Team was at Baillou Hill Road Clinic, and South Team was at Quality Home Center, Carmichael Road. Tuesday, April 28, 2026 @ 10:00AM - 1:00PM. They shared wellness tips for living a healthy life. Remember: "The Health of a Nation is the Wealth of a Nation."

The Ministry of Health & Wellness, Wellness Unit hosted: "Move Bahamas Fun Run Walk & Health Screenings at Goodman's Bay. Saturday, April 11, 2026 @ 5:00Am - 11:00Am. We also had "Move Bahamas in several of the family Islands. New Providence, Grand Bahama, Bimini, Exuma, Andros, Eleuthera, & Cat Island. We had free giveaways and screened for, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, and Low Hemoglobin levels. Remember: "The Health of a Nation is the Wealth of a Nation."
