Nurses are the backbone of healthcare. You care for patients during their most difficult moments, provide comfort to families, and continue to serve with patience, strength, and kindness even during long and challenging hours. We would like to sincerely thank our colleagues from OTG for spending your weekend with us in the mortar casting of the footpath from the town to the hospital. This footpath is widely used by patients visiting the hospital, as well as by students and parents commuting to the school via behind the hospital.
The mortar casting work was carried out through generous collective contributions from hospital staff, with the aim of making the pathway safer and more reliable for vulnerable elders and children, especially during the rainy and grassy seasons.
This initiative became possible through the support and generosity of many individuals and organizations. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Lingmethang Farm Manager and Ata Dorji Wangdue for kindly sparing a tractor for a day to transport materials; to Tshencho Quarry, Yongri, for generously donating two tractor-loads of gravel; and to Ata Tempa and friends from NRDCL, Majathang, for donating two tractor-loads of sand.
Just as we deeply appreciate the grand cooperation and support from all the above, we would also like to convey our sincere gratitude to Ata Boning of Phuntshok Dargayling Hardware for kindly donating a pair of LED lights for Moenlha Phodrang.

We are deeply pleased to share that the month-long repainting of our Moenlha Phodrang has been successfully completed. Today, the consecration was graciously presided over by the Dorji Lopen of Ngagdra Dorji Choegar, Kurizam, along with Lhabsang Thruesel. We feel truly blessed on this auspicious occasion.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank each and every one who supported this initiative, whether through cash, kind, or goodwill. The work began in early April with a seed fund of Nu. 30,000 generously offered by our former Drg. Ugyen, followed by the kind contributions of our staff. It is especially heartening to see our colleagues in the diaspora and those who have been transferred still remain connected and extend their support for this meaningful cause.

We are equally grateful to well-wishers from OTG, financial institutions, the KHP office, the business community, Nagor Hospital, and other friends for their generosity, whose contribution kept us going. Our sincere appreciation also goes to painters Jigme and Sonam, whose dedication, sincerity, and kind consideration in their services made this work possible.

Our Moenlha Phodrang, built in 2020 to commemorate the 40th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty, was lovingly repainted this April to mark the 40th Birth Anniversary of HRH the Gyaltshab and Azhi. It feels truly special that todayโ€™s consecration coincides with the auspicious birth anniversary of Azhi.

As we celebrate this simple yet meaningful achievement, we also fondly remember and thank all those who supported the vision when the idea of having a Moenlha Phodrang in the hospital was first shared six years ago.

May all who have contributed and supported this effort be blessed with good health, happiness, and lasting peace under the benevolent leadership of our Vaidurya King.

The comprehensive two-day ACLS training was conducted for the Emergency staff of Gyalpoizhing Hospital by certified BLS and ACLS providers, with support from the Simulation Centre at MRRH, Mongar. The training was aligned with the Druk Sokchop BLS and BACLS courses.
This program aimed to refresh and enhance life-saving and resuscitation skills among emergency staff, while also introducing updates on the use of new and existing equipment. It further strengthened the competencies of multidisciplinary staff, directly contributing to improved patient care and outcomes prior to referral to higher centers.
The training proved to be highly enriching, with participants dedicating their full weekends without disrupting routine patient care during weekdays.

Additionally, online educational tools (Apps) such as MediCode, QCPR (Laerdal), and ResusMonitor were resourceful, especially for facilities with limited access to fidelity simulation equipment and mannequins like ours.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the MRRH administration and the Simulation Centre in-charge for their support in making this training possible at our convenience. We are confident that the knowledge and skills gained will significantly benefit our day-to-day patient management.
