A wonderful opportunity at the Institute of Technology and Professional Learning for young individuals aspiring to work with persons with disabilities and the elderly. We encourage all future social workers to embrace this path with compassion and dedication, itโ€™s a journey that truly makes a difference.

A special session with Mr. Yonten Jamtsho from DPO

As part of our ongoing Certificate in Individual Support and Care program, we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Yonten, a key member of the management team at the Disabled People's Organization of Bhutan (DPO Bhutan). His presence and powerful insights brought incredible value to our participants, highlighting the real-life challenges and aspirations of persons with disabilities.

Mr. Yontenโ€™s talk reminded us of the importance of lived experiences and the critical need for inclusive dialogue in care and support services. His visit to ITPL beautifully reinforced the powerful slogan:
"Nothing About Us Without Us."

At ITPL, we remain deeply committed to working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders and ensuring that the voices of those we serve are not just heard, but are at the heart of every training, policy, and action we take.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Yonten and DPO Bhutan for your continued advocacy and partnership. Together, weโ€™re building a more inclusive and compassionate future.

Follow us for more updates and opportunities. Ready to make a difference.
Enroll now and be part of Bhutanโ€™s growing care workforce!
