June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the mental health challenges many men face and to encourage open, honest conversations about emotional wellbeing.
Society often teaches men to be strong, independent, and resilient. While these qualities can be valuable, they can sometimes make it difficult for men to express their emotions or seek support when they need it.
Mental health challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, burnout and grief can affect anyone. Seeking help is not a sign of weakness. It is a positive step toward healing, growth and wellbeing.
This month, we encourage men to:
- Check in with themselves regularly
- Talk to someone they trust
- Prioritize their mental wellbeing
- Reach out for professional support when needed
