Barminco Mining Services Botswana has signed a mining services agreement with Khoemacau Copper Mining for the provision of mining services at the Zone 5 underground copper mine in Botswana. We are seeking expressions of interest from euthusiastic, hardworking individuals who have capacity to learn, value safety, strive for excellence and have high level of integrity. Barminco will provide comprehensive training programs delivered by specialist trainers, assisted by highly experienced underground mining and maintenance personnel to ensure that knowledge is transferred to the local workforce as soon as possible

For our project in Orapa we have the following vacancies to be filled.
1. Area Manager-

2. Chief Safety Officer x1..National Diploma or Degree or relevant qualification in OHS or Environmental Science. Atleast 3yrs exp in mining environment as a Chief Safety officer

3. Safety Officer x3.. National Diploma or relevant qualification in OHS or Environmental science. 3yrs as a safety officer in mining environment

4. Comacchio Supervisor x2 must have 8yrs in in exploration drilling of which 3yrs as a supervisor. Experience in operating Hydraulic long stroke drill

5. Comacchio foreman x1..10yrs in exploration drilling of which 3yrs as a foreman.

6. Comacchio operator x 2 (6yrs exp in exploration drilling of which 3yrs as an operator, operating Hydraulic Long stroke drill(Christensen CT14, CT20, 140) boart long year (LM75, LM90, LM110) Rocors, Comachio 900

7. Foreman x2.. 10yrs exp in exploration drilling, 3yrs as a supervisor-operating Hydraulic Long stroke drill(Christensen CT14, CT20, 140) boart long year (LM75, LM90, LM110) Rocors, Comachio 900

8. Contracts Administrator/Geologist x 1..recognized 3yrs qualification in any field covering both business and technical environment. Previous exp within mining/exploration project an added adv. Computer literacy in MS Office and outlook email.

9. Site Clerk x1.. Atleast 2yrs post qualification exp with atleast 1 yr in a similar role. Computer literacy- MS office & outlook email

10. Personal Assistant/HR clerk x1.. National diploma in Business Administration or HRM or Secretarial certificate of equivalent qualification. Atleast 3yrs post qualification with atleast 1 yr in a similar role. Computer literacy-MS office & outlook email

11. Supervisor x5.. Botswana valid drivers licence & permits, matric/grade 12 or equivalent cert. Atleast 2yrs exp post qualification

12. Technician x3 matric/grade 12 or equivalent cert. Drivers licenc..qualified RED SEAL, must have basic boiler making skills, exp on air cooled and water cooled diesel engines. Auto elec knowledge.

13. Driver x3 BW drivers licence and permits. Atleast 1yr in a similar role.

14. Operator x8 must have 6yrs exp nd 3yrs as an operator of l Hydraulic Long stroke drill(Christensen CT14, CT20, 140) boart long year (LM75, LM90, LM110) Rocors, Comachio 900

15. Assistant Operator x12..4yrs exp in exploration and drilling of which 2yrs as assistant operator..exp in operating Hydraulic Long stroke drill(Christensen CT14, CT20, 140) boart long year (LM75, LM90, LM110) Rocors, Comachio 900

16. Core Yard Helper x6..minimum of 2yrs exp in Exploration drilling. Medical fit

17. Helper x24..minimum of 2yrs exp in exploratiom drilling..medically fit.
