The fire is calling. And this August, we’re turning up the heat.

Our AROUND THE FIRE sessions return mid-August, and we are hosting the multi-talented DREDD X — a force on the mic, on the page, and on the stage. Spoken word artist. Musician. Poet. Author. Visual artist.

With a career that spans continents, Dredd X has graced prestigious stages including the Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) in Zimbabwe , the Jozi Spoken Word Fest in South Africa, the Jakarta International Literary Festival in Indonesia, and the Iowa Book Festival in USA.

His recorded poetry and music album, Poetic Meditations (2014), has enjoyed sustained local radio play, and we are delighted to offer limited copies on CD at the event for a small price.
