Come to the Louisiana Government School in Orange Walk to receive free therapy services for children aged birth to 16 years. Speech therapy spots are already filled, but we still have openings for physical therapy.

This month, The Inspiration Center had the honour of welcoming a dedicated team of 6 volunteer Speech-Language Pathologists from Wanderlust Volunteer Therapies.

Together, they served over 35 plus children and their families through: Speech and Language Evaluations, Speech and Language Therapy, Parent Education and Follow-Up Resources to Empower Families.

These incredible volunteers also donated 6 speech-generating communication devices to children with limited spoken communication, providing them with a powerful new way to express their wants, needs, thoughts, and personalities.

We are deeply grateful to the volunteer team: Brianna Andrade, Caeli Romansky, Bethany LeBrun (all returning volunteers), as well as Derek Cicchitto, Raweya Filat, and Kelsey Sipka.

Thank you to the families who warmly welcomed the SLPS and to everyone who helped to make this mission possible. Every child deserves the opportunity to communicate, connect, and be heard. Together, we are making that possible.

Yesterday, the Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise graciously donated $30,000 to The Inspiration Center.

A special thank you to the Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise for organizing and hosting the SUNRISE UNCORKED fundraiser, which made this generous contribution possible.

We also deeply appreciate the love and support from sponsors and everyone who attended and contributed to the fundraising event. This donation will go directly towards meeting immediate equipment needs of the center.

It is with deep respect and gratitude that we remember and celebrate the life and many contributions of Dr. Cecilio Eck, a dedicated pediatrician and a cherished member of The Inspiration Center’s Board of Directors for six years.

Dr. Eck was a shining example of humility, hard work, and genuine compassion. He consistently placed the needs and well-being of children at the forefront of everything he did. His love for children and his generous spirit shone brightly through all his actions. Whether supporting our awareness events, like the annual Light the Night, or bringing his entire family to participate and lend their support, his unwavering commitment was evident. His presence made a meaningful and lasting difference not only through his deeds but through the love and kindness he freely shared with everyone around him.

As a cooperative and dedicated board member, Dr. Eck exemplified what it means to serve with compassion and integrity. His contributions, both big and small, helped to propel the mission of The Inspiration Center forward and brought hope to the children and families we serve. To all who knew him, his impact was deeply heartfelt and lasting.

We are profoundly grateful for his service, his friendship, and his boundless love for children. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy of kindness, humility, and dedication will continue to inspire us every day.

Rest peacefully, Dr. Eck. You will be deeply missed, but forever remembered with love.

The Inspiration Center is Celebrating 12 Amazing Years!

Today marks a special milestone for the center, 12 years since we opened our doors to serve children living with disabilities and their families. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in their lives and for being part of such a compassionate and supportive community.

As part of our celebration, we want to honor someone truly special, our in-house Volunteer Physical Therapist, Dana Staley, who has been with us for 8 wonderful years!
