A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our first Zen Warriors/Town Council 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament such a fun and successful community event!

We had seven teams participate, along with many supporters, volunteers, and families who came together to encourage our youth. Thank you to everyone who donated food, drinks, supplies, and your time. Your support made this event possible.

Thank you again for supporting our youth and helping build a stronger community through sports.

Today I had the pleasure of having some of my former students help out at the Zen Belize / Zen Warriors Art & Movement Summer Camp.

I got to know these girls really well while teaching Art and PE at The Island Academy over the past five years. It has been such a gift to watch them grow into kind, capable young women—and even more special that they still want to come hang out with me and make art together! 💗

Days like these remind me why I love teaching. I am very excited to be starting free ESL classes tomorrow at Zen, 3:30-4:30.
