One of the most common causes of battery problems in scooters and power wheelchairs isn't the battery itself—it's the charger.

⚠️ Using the wrong charger can:

❌ Shorten battery life
❌ Cause batteries to undercharge or overcharge

🔋 Lead Acid (SLA) Batteries
• Require a charger specifically designed for SLA batteries
• Need the proper charging cycle to maintain battery health
• Overcharging can cause premature battery failure

⚡ Lithium Batteries
• Require lithium-compatible chargers
• Charge differently than lead acid batteries
• Using the wrong charger can damage the battery management system (BMS) and reduce battery performance

🤔 Top 5 Questions We Get About Rentals

Whether you need equipment for recovery, travel, surgery, or a loved one coming to visit, rentals can be a great solution. Here are some of the most common questions we hear:

❓ 1. Why do you need my Visa or Mastercard?
We require a credit card on file as security for rental equipment. Payment can still be made by cash, debit, or e-transfer.

❓ 2. What if I return the equipment early?
Rental fees are not refunded for early returns. We reserve and prepare equipment specifically for your rental period.

❓ 3. How long can I rent equipment for?
Many items are available by the week or month. Weekly rentals are often approximately half the monthly rental rate, depending on the equipment. Some items, such as stairlifts, are available on monthly rental terms only.

❓ 4. What happens if I need it longer?
No problem! Simply contact us before your rental period ends and we can extend the rental if the equipment is available.

❓ 5. Do I have to return it myself?
That depends on the equipment and your situation. Some items can be returned to our showroom, while others may qualify for pickup or delivery services. Just ask us when booking your rental.
