June 30th was our busiest baby day with 3 bubbahs sneaking into June birthdays 🎂

Happy Birthday to the newest addition to the Solstice crew lil Miss Violet was safely born at home today into the arms of her excited parents.

Mary was incredible and we have no doubt that she will take on motherhood with grace, strength and patience ❤️ Congratulations to the new little family!

We are so honored to be invited to your 0 day birthday party and look forward to supporting you and your parents on this new life journey✨️🎈

What is a Midwife?

A Midwife is a regulated health care provider for pregnancy, birth and postpartum! We offer home and hospital birth to low risk healthy folks. We are covered under BC MSP which means it's free!

If you are pregnant and due for September onwards we have space opening up for certain dates so please visit our website and fill out an intake! We look forward to providing care to you and your family ❣️

February 19th had 4 births

And just like that we're 1yr old! ✨️🎉

Please join us for our Birth-iversary March 28th, 2026 from 10:30am till 1:30pm in clinic
Drop-in bring your littles and have some laughs!

We'd love to see all of our Solstice Babies from our 1yr to 1month olds (😉 1day olds not allowed you guys should still be at home resting!)

If you're unable to attend please know how much it means for us to have had you in our care and we are so grateful and appreciative to have been witnesses to growing your little families. Thank you to this amazing community your love and support mean so much to everyone here ❤️

Welcome our last 2025 December babies 🎅🌲

This magical season was filled with many little joys and newborn snuggles ✨️

In 2025 we had 249 babies, ARH Maternity unit had 3044! Of that 249 we had 6 sets if twins (4 sets born vaginally!), 39 successful Homebirths, 168 vaginal deliveries, 48 Emerg CS and 33 scheduled C/S deliveries!

Thank you to all the families who were in care with us this year- it was a true pleasure so be part of your families ♥️ Wishing you all love, light and rest for 2026!
