🏀 Basketball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Over the years, the game has demanded a lot from my body—long practices, travel, injuries, and countless hours on the court.

For me, chiropractic care has been one part of my overall approach to staying active. Alongside strength training, mobility work, recovery, nutrition, and listening to my body, it’s helped me continue doing what I love.

As both an athlete and a chiropractor, I know there isn’t one magic solution. Staying on the court takes consistency, a team approach, and finding what works best for you.

My overall goal is to help people move with confidence so they can continue doing the activities they love❤️

🌿 Pelvic Floor Awareness:

Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that plays an important role in supporting your body through everyday activities — including breathing, movement, exercise, and postpartum recovery.

Many people hear “pelvic floor” and only think about pregnancy, but pelvic floor health matters throughout all stages of life. 🤍

A few ways to support pelvic floor awareness:

✨ 1. Breathe and connect
Your breathing patterns and pelvic floor muscles work together. Taking time for relaxed, diaphragmatic breathing can help you become more aware of your body.

✨ 2. Pay attention to your movement
How you lift, exercise, and move throughout your day can influence how your body feels.

✨ 3. Notice changes after pregnancy
Pregnancy and birth create incredible changes in the body. Some people experience symptoms such as pressure, discomfort, leaking, or changes with activity — and these are worth discussing.

✨ 4. Strength is only one piece
Pelvic floor health involves coordination, relaxation, strength, and function — not just “doing Kegels.”

✨ 5. Build your support team
- Chiropractors help assess for any pelvic or low back dysfunction.
- Pelvic health physiotherapists are specially trained healthcare professionals who can assess and support pelvic floor muscles.

Your body does amazing things. Learning how it works is the first step toward caring for it. 🌸

✨ We are incredibly honoured to share that Blessingways has been nominated for the 2026 Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce Greatest Impact Award! ✨

When Blessingways first opened its doors 18 years ago, our goal was simple: to help families live healthier lives. Since then, our clinic has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined.

Every day, we have the privilege of caring for pregnant women, Babies, children, families, seniors, and everyone in between. Beyond the clinic, we've been honoured to educate parents through community workshops, collaborate with incredible local organizations, support fellow businesses, and give back to the community that has supported us for so many years.

This nomination belongs to every member of the Blessingways team—past and present—whose compassion, dedication, and commitment to serving others have made our clinic what it is today.

Most importantly, thank you to our amazing patients. Thank you for trusting us with your care, referring your family and friends, attending our workshops, supporting our community initiatives, and allowing us to be part of your lives.
We would also like to thank the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce, the City of Airdrie, Airdrie Economic Development, and SMARTstart for creating opportunities that help local businesses connect, grow, and make a positive impact in our community.

Congratulations to all of this year's nominees. We are truly honoured to be included among so many outstanding local businesses.

💙 Thank you, Airdrie, for 18 incredible years. We are excited for everything still to come!

✨ Did You Know? ✨

Chiropractic care isn’t always about “cracking” your back!

Every patient is different, which is why treatment is tailored to your comfort level, goals, and needs. 💙

🔹 Drop table adjustments

🔹 Soft tissue techniques
🔹 And more!

Our goal is to help you move and feel better in a way that works best for you. 🌿
