It’s back to school time! Our youngest is going into grade 11 and our oldest is taking a gap year and we drove him down to Wyoming to start of volunteer program. There were some difficult moments saying goodbye 😔 but that’s part of growing up!

It’s your last chance to get out and simulate what it’s like to forge for food! I think Sweet Life Saskatoons is already closed for the season, but Sarah and family (new owners) at Solstice Berry Farm were happy to show us where some of the last berries could be found. Due to weather, it was a tough year for them so they’ll only be open until Friday. It’s just a great way to get out into nature and develop an extra appreciation for where food comes from.

Spring Is here, we got the garden in and started some lawn care. There is FREE mushroom compost available at Highline Mushrooms just north of Airdrie. Your lawn might smell a little like a barnyard for a couple of days, but your lawn, shrubs and flowers will thank you for it!
