This patient struggled with reading for years — losing her place, rereading lines, and finding it effortful just to concentrate on text. Every eye doctor told her the same thing: her eyes were fine, 20/20 vision. But 20/20 doesn’t tell the whole story.

An extensive functional visual skills exam revealed what standard eye tests miss. With a therapeutic glasses prescription using specialized tints and prisms, the change was immediate — easier concentration, no more rereading, better comprehension, and less sensitivity to bright light.

Seeing clearly and processing visual information comfortably aren’t always the same thing. If reading feels harder than it should, even with “perfect” vision, we’re here to help.

We’re home. 💙

Our grand opening was more than just a celebration — it was a moment we weren’t always sure we’d get to. When we had to relocate unexpectedly in February 2025, it was a hard and uncertain time for us. But this community showed up. Your patience, your kind words, your “we’ll wait for you” — it carried us through and pushed us to build something permanent here in Ajax.

To every patient, neighbor, and supporter who journeyed with us — thank you. This isn’t just our grand opening. It’s yours too.
