GUESS WHOS BACK ... BACK AGAIN
# # # Feeling Better with Supplements: My Journey
LONG POST BUT WORTH THE READ...
Does anyone remember my photos from about a year and a couple of months ago, featuring a whole bunch of Pepsi cases and me talking about always running out and having to get more at the local convenience store until our weekly 8 cases arrived? Then I shared a photo 📸 (included below) of alot of Pepsi cases. That's when I took supplements within 4 months we were ahead which meant my share of soda consumed was 15 cases 180 cans of soda my body had not consumed.
Now, I've got a few Pepsi cases ahead, but it's different this time because I haven't been drinking Pepsi for a week.
Here's my story.
In the last few weeks, I've felt pretty awful, and my body has really taken a hit. My IBS is back in full force. My sweats returned due to menopause, with night sweats waking me up and keeping me up half the night. BP out of wack.
I am now on a double dose of blood pressure medication since my issues with my mom's death and the stress and anxiety surrounding family issues. It’s been heartbreaking and emotionally exhausting.
After my mom passed, I stopped everything. I was all over the place, in and out of the hospital for migraines. The only solution after two big episodes was to double my dose of BP meds, that I hadn’t taken in four months because my supplements had my BP regulated, and my doctor had agreed to me stopping them since my BP was running a bit low.
I realized I hadn’t taken my supplements in the past four weeks because I ran out. Despite wanting to place an order, life got in the way, and I kept forgetting. As a result, I experienced the worst heartburn in the last two weeks and hot flashes before I restarted my supplements.
I’ve tried two different types of supplements. While both worked well, one had a taste I couldn’t stand. So, I decided to return to the original supplements I first started with. They were great, and I never had any issues. I placed my order at the end of June, and it arrived on July 3rd.
I had also regained about 15 of the 25 pounds I lost. Despite exercising, I need supplements to help because my busy lifestyle makes it hard to nourish my body correctly. My energy was low, my hormones were out of whack, and I was back to drinking Pepsi—several a day. I was also eating nonstop, likely due to depression and stress. And my IBS was draining me out for days into weeks.
As of today, one week back on my original supplements, I’m thrilled to report I haven’t had any soda, and I’ve barely eaten any sugar all week . I’m also trying a new product that's working wonders also.
On July 3rd, my weight was 147.6 lbs, and today, July 10th, it’s down to 144 lbs. That’s a loss of 3.6 lbs, and my BMI is down by 0.7. I haven’t even added exercise yet due to the heat, and I’m eating my normal meals but smaller portions, yet I’m still blown away by my results.
I want to be back like the 3rd picture 📸 of me where I felt good and looked healthier.
