Today a wonderful chapter is coming to a close — Judy Macleod of Judy’s Cuts ‘N Such is officially retiring✂️

Judy has been so much more than a hairstylist to so many — she’s been a friendly face, a great listener, and someone who always made people feel just a little more put together walking out the door.
As she trades in her scissors for more time with her grandkids (maybe a few Star Trek marathons 🚀),and boldly go wherever the next adventure takes her 🚀 we wish her nothing but the best!

Thank you, Judy, for all the years of care, laughs, and great hair. You’ll be missed 💛

Originally from Glengarry, Leigh initially joined The Hideaway in January 2022.

Over the past few years she has also had the opportunity to travel throughout this time which has brought with her incredible experience, passion, and a genuine love for her work.

During her travels, she had the unique opportunity to work aboard The Royal Scotsman train in Edinburgh, providing massage therapy in their brand-new Dior Spa while travelling through the breathtaking Scottish Highlands in 2023.

Leigh recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Massage in Ireland (2024–2025). An unforgettable experience that shaped her practice and approach to care.

Leigh is a Registered Massage Therapist with a strong background in exercise science. Each treatment is thoughtfully tailored to the client’s needs, whether you’re seeking relaxation, deep tissue work, manual lymphatic drainage, TMJ treatment, or therapeutic care.

✨ Hello and Welcome! ✨

My name is Mandy, and I am the owner of The Hideaway Massage Studio and I.O.W.A. (Independently Owned Wellness Associates). I am also a Registered Massage Therapist, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate to build a career that I care deeply about.

I opened The Hideaway Massage Studio nearly nine years ago. Originally from the state of Iowa, I moved to Canada 22 years ago, and the name of my business is a little nod to where I began and the wonderful space I hoped to create here. While I am no longer accepting new massage clients, my passion for health, wellness, and community continues to grow.

That passion is what inspired the creation of I.O.W.A. — a shared wellness space designed to bring a variety of independently owned health and wellness services together under one roof, right here in our town. My hope is that this space feels welcoming, supportive, and convenient for both practitioners and clients alike.

I am truly grateful for my friends, family, and clients who have supported me over the years. Your encouragement and trust have made this journey possible, and I’m so excited to take this next step.
