This June, Stevenson Memorial Hospital proudly celebrates Seniors Month and recognizes the older adults who have helped shape our community through their wisdom, resilience, and contributions.

This year’s theme, “Ontario Seniors — Let’s Get Moving,” encourages older adults to stay active, connected, and engaged while supporting healthy aging and overall well-being.

🚧 Important Notice: Ambulance Offload Relocation 🚧

Our ambulance patient offload area will have a temporary relocation due to construction of the new hospital facility.

Beginning June 1:

➡️Patients coming to the hospital by ambulance will enter the hospital through the main entrance.
➡️The main entrance will continue to be used as main hospital entry for all patients and visitors.
➡️ Please refrain from parking in the designated ambulance spaces near the main entrance.

Patient drop-off at the main entrance is still encouraged. Please be mindful that ambulances may be in the area.

This is a temporary change to patient flow and hospital entry through the summer months as construction continues on our new hospital facility.

By the fall, a separate entrance will be created for ambulance offload patients adjacent to our main entrance, which will remain in operation until the new facility is complete.

We kindly ask all visitors to use extra caution when arriving onsite and follow all posted signage and staff direction to help keep everyone safe during this transition.

We appreciate our community’s patience and understanding at this time as our hospital undergoes a much-needed expansion.

Construction is underway and the new facility is anticipated to be complete by late 2028. 💙
