This little honey bee reminded me of something profound.
While it appears to be simply gathering pollen, it is also participating in one of nature's most important relationships—pollination.
As bees travel between blossoms, they transfer pollen that allows plants to create fruits, vegetables, herbs, and seeds. It's estimated that nearly one out of every three bites of food we eat depends, at least in part, on pollinators.
As an aromatherapist, I can't help but think about the incredible journey that begins here. The lavender, rosemary, citrus blossoms, chamomile, and countless other botanicals we treasure all begin with healthy ecosystems and hardworking pollinators.
The essential oils we love are truly gifts of nature—and bees play a remarkable role in protecting that gift.
Today, may we slow down long enough to appreciate the tiny miracles happening all around us. 💛🐝🌿
