Our therapeutic summer camp programs had the most exciting visit today from - with not only 👮🏽‍♂️👮🏼‍♀️human officers, but also 🐴 equine and 🐶canine officers joining the fun!

Huge thanks to PC Sansalone (riding RHLI), Sgt Rodger (riding Lincoln) with their beautiful Percheron horses, and Officer Stone (with Steel the German Shepherd) for sharing your time and skills with us today.

Getting to know our first responders in familiar, supported environments sets kids up for safe, positive relationships with our emergency service providers - who are there for us in the scariest moments of our lives - and the more we can share about neurodivergent minds and the different responses they may have under stress, the better prepared our emergency responders will be to understand and adapt their approach to serving & protecting 🧠 Minds of All Kinds in our community.

Meet the skilled Therapeutic Coaches supporting our summer camps - Bram, Adi, Maddie, Max, Jackson, Caelen and Jonathan. They're joined by regular guest stars from our therapeutic team, supervising social workers Maureen and Sarah .family.architect, camp chef Sarah , and a host of animal friends as they use play and nature immersion to help kids explore, connect, learn, problem-solve, and celebrate minds of all kinds at SkillBuilders Summer Camp in Ancaster!

This supportive, low-ratio therapeutic camp helps elementary-aged kids who thrive in more individuated, smaller group settings with more choice and support than traditional summer camps can offer.

There is so much skill, passion, and Autism-specialized experience jammed into our incredible PowerUp team! PowerUp is our developmental day program, offering a meaningful alternative to conventional ABA programs for Autistic kids and tweens.
These humans, along with the support of our Social Workers, Speech Therapist & Occupational Therapists, build meaningful relationships with each child and family they support, connecting with home and school to wrap their kids in joyful, affirming, person-first care.
