“Emilie's entrepreneurial spirit and love for animals began at a young age when she started her first dog-walking business at just six or seven years old. As she grew older, she worked for a dog groomer to help support the costs of owning and competing with her horse in eventing. After originally aspiring to become a veterinarian, Emilie discovered her passion for equine massage therapy after witnessing its benefits firsthand with her own horse.

She moved to London, Ontario to attend the Equine Massage Therapy program at the D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy, completing the intensive 2,200-hour program in 2018. Upon graduation, Emilie became registered with the International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists and currently serves on its Board of Directors.

She has also spent several years working in a small animal veterinary clinic and has completed multiple canine and feline certifications, including canine hydrotherapy, veterinary nutrition, and Fear Free practices. Now based in Nova Scotia, Emilie travels throughout the province providing massage therapy services for both equine and canine companions.”

🐎 Locked and loaded with 🐕

Tick & mosquito season can be tough on our horses/dogs, but PureGard Repellent (formerly AtlanTick) helps provide longer-lasting protection against ticks, & mosquitoes so your horse/dog can stay comfortable whether they’re in the pasture, on the trail, or in the show ring.

What Healing Touch loves:
✔️ Ready-to-use formula
✔️ Helps repel multiple species of insects
✔️ Suitable for daily use as directed
✔️ Can be used before riding, turnout, or training
✔️ Helps reduce the irritation and stress caused by pesky bugs
✔️ Botanical
✔️ Made in Nova Scotia, Canada

A comfortable animal is a happier animal, and anything that helps them focus on grazing, working, and simply being a horse or dog is a win in my books.

Science
PureGard uses Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus PMD*, a naturally derived ingredient recognized by Health Canada and the CDC to repel ticks and mosquitoes.

Strength
Get up to 6 hours of tick protection and 5 hours against mosquitoes, outperforming essential-oil blends with fewer reapplications.

Safety
Made with clean, plant-based ingredients and no harsh chemicals. Safer for families and dogs than lemongrass-based formulas.

Senior dogs often struggle with stiffness, weakness, and reduced confidence — but warm water exercise can change everything.
In water, older dogs can move more freely, build strength safely, and enjoy gentle, pain reducing support. Many rediscover mobility they haven’t felt in years.
If you want to help senior dogs stay active and comfortable, our Canine Hydrotherapy Online Training gives you the tools to make a real difference.
