Avery DeCoste
#13 UMG Atlantic Mortgages Bandolero

Avery’s season recently took a tough turn following a very serious rollover incident the week prior. Thanks to a strong effort from his family and crew, the car was repaired and ready to return to racing for Friday night.

He came back strong, earning a solid top-three finish in his heat race and showing real pace throughout the night. In the feature, he was once again running inside the top three before mechanical issues ended his run with about seven laps remaining.

Off the track, Avery also stepped up in a big way on a very hot race day, helping another Beginner Bandolero team with parts and support in an effort to get them back on track. While they ultimately weren’t able to make the feature, his effort and sportsmanship stood out.

Hats off to Avery DeCoste for his determination and positive attitude both on and off the track.
