It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our son/stepson Tylor Dwayne Roskewich. Tylor will be deeply missed, loved, and remembered. His random text messages, phone calls, and visits will always be a cherished memory. We would like to thank everybody who showed their love and kindness to us during this difficult time. We truly appreciate your concern.

After much consideration of the current international health crisis, the Roskewich family is choosing to postpone the celebration of Tylor's life until a later date. We appreciate there are many people who knew Tylor and want to join in the celebration, however ensuring the gathering is safe and inclusive for all who wish to attend is the family priority. At this time we encourage everyone to prioritize their own health and safety. We will confirm the date of our celebration in forthcoming announcements and appreciate your understanding and support.

Zenon Rawa of Calgary passed away on March 8, 2020, after a brief illness at the age of 65 years.

Zenon is survived by his mother, Jennie Rawa, his two sisters: Elizabeth Madsen and Dorothy (Bert) Seatter his two brothers: Anthony (Helen) Rawa and Richard Rawa and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Marion Rawa, and brother-in-law, Doug Madsen.

Due to the recent government restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather, the family will be holding a private service. The funeral service will be recorded for those who wish to join in the funeral service and uploaded to our website following the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 20, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stollery Hospital in Calgary in memory of Zenon.

Mr. Mike Sworin of Grassland, Alberta, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Lena Sworin, passed away peacefully at the Boyle Healthcare Centre on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the age of 92 years.

Mike is survived by his daughter Geraldine Joan Snyder, grandson Mikael Snyder, sister Olga Semashkewich, and sister-in-law Olga Sworin.

Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife Lena Sworin, parents; Julia and Peter Sworin, brother Bill Sworin, sister Julia Pretula, brothers-in-law; John Pretula and Stanley Semaskewich.

Vince will be mourned by his wife of 17 years Sherrie, and their 3 kids Nathan (14), Lauren (12) and Jillian (10), parents; Lois and Terry Van Nest, sister; Candace Van Nest, mother-in-law; Lucille Strong, brother-in-law; Danny (Christine) Strong, numerous nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; co-workers and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, March 9, 2020, at the Athabasca Regional Multiplex Fieldhouse.

Donations can be made in trust to his children through the Service Credit Union, Athabasca Branch.

On Thursday, February 27, 2020, Mr. Walter Palkun of Boyle, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years old.

Walter is survived by his 2 sons and 1 daughter; Dennis (Betty) of Edson, Crystal (George) Neumann of St. Paul, Daniel (Monique) of St. Albert, 6 grandchildren; Christopher (Carla), Ryan (Amanda), Lyle (Amy), Elise (Darren), Samantha (Joshua), Elijah (Amy); and 10 great-grandchildren.

Walter was predeceased by his loving wife Carol in 2006.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at the St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Boyle with Father Paul officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boyle Healthcare Centre Auxiliary Association -Palliative Care.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Irma Semrok, of Perryvale beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Athabasca Healthcare Centre on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the age of 86 years.

Irma is survived by her three sons: Manfred (Sandy), Ron (Dolores), Ed (Theresa); daughter, Sherrie (Robin Breese); nine grandchildren: Natasha (Dale Kapitaniuk), Dustin (Nicole Hannah-Semrok), Mitchel, Nadine (Warren Griffin), Clint, Michael Borody, Neal (Alysia), Angelina, and David; seven great-grandchildren: Nahum Semrok, Cohen Griffin, Antony Borody, Winter Semrok, Rebecca Griffin, Maxwell, and Adalynn Hannah-Semrok; brother Fred Molzahn; sister-in-law Linda (Allan) Bechtloff, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

Irma was predeceased by her husband Edwin and sister Alice.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 P.M. and 8:30 P.M. on Friday, February 21, 2020, at the Athabasca Community Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Athabasca Missionary Church.
