Our week of PRIDE programming ensured something for everyone from decorating rainbow cupcakes to creating PRIDE banners to put up around the home and bringing out our colorful parachute. Our Person and Family Centered Care Committee hosted a PRIDE parade and our team walked, wheeled, biked and side by sided in the name of resident rights and inclusivity.

๐Ÿงก๐ŸฉทThe Maple View Lodge staff, families, volunteers, spiritual supports and residents came together to ensure our Celebration of Life Ceremony was a day of remembrance, gratitude, and love.

๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธAs part of this year's Celebration, we planted Gerbera daisies. These bright and beautiful flowers symbolize cheerfulness, joy, innocence, and the celebration of life. Their vibrant blooms reminded us of the happiness, warmth, and unique spirit that each of our residents brought to our home.

๐ŸŒฑMay the flowers serve as a living tribute to those we remember todayโ€”a reminder that their legacy continues to bloom in the stories we share, the lessons they taught us, and the love they leave behind.

MVL team members, residents and families- we are excited to share on behalf of the Recreation team that MVL residents have decided to start selling their Diamond art creations at the tuck shop!

If you are looking for a hand made with love, sparkly creation be sure to stop by the tuck shop to support this new program. The tuck shop is open the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month thanks to our volunteer Auxiliary! All funds go back to the residents for programs or outings of their choice.

Diamond art is a new program in our home that a group of residents have really been enjoying! ๐Ÿ’Žโœจ
