With insomnia in perimenopause, the goal isn't necessarily to treat "poor sleep" like many patients think, it's actually to understand what's contributing to it and to get to the bottom of THAT.
beyon that, there's a few things that could improve your sleep during perimenopause that you may not have thought of! Let me know which one stood out to you (and read my blog in my link in bio for the rest of my sleep guide)
✔️ Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
✔️ Hormone therapy (for appropriate candidates)
✔️ A Mediterranean-style diet (Really?! Yes.)
✔️ Assessing for conditions such as sleep apnea, thyroid changes, iron deficiency, blood sugar changes, chronic pain, or mood concerns
Read the full blog through the link in my bio to explore these options in more detail.
