What a beautiful day it was on June 27th as we came together for Hope House's very first Annual Memorial Picnic!
This heartfelt event brought our community together to remember and honor the loved ones we've cared for, surrounded by connection, comfort, and warmth.
A huge thank you to our amazing coordinators — Julia, Maria, and Lily — whose dedication and heart made this special day possible. Your hard work truly shone through!
We're also deeply grateful to The Aurora Mayor's Golf Classic Funds Committee for their generous support in funding this event Mayor Tom Mrakas
And a special shoutout to the Aurora Lions Club for firing up the grill and supplying all the food for the day — your generosity fed both bodies and spirits!
Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this first annual gathering one to remember.

This week, we're celebrating Ontario's first-ever Provincial Bingo Week (June 22–27)!
Hope House is so grateful for the incredible support of Bingo World and Gaming Richmond Hill. Because of charitable gaming, Hope House Community Hospice is able to offer our HUUG Program — supporting children navigating grief or a parent's life-threatening illness — as well as our Wellness Programs, completely free of charge to families in our community. This funding truly makes a difference in people's lives during their most difficult moments.
Every card played helps us show up for those who need us most. Thank you!
