Dragonfly Centre is pleased to share two upcoming virtual workshop opportunities for our MENtors program: Men Supporting Boys to Build Safer Communities.
The purpose of the MENtors program is to empower men to be steady, trusted adults in the lives of boys and young men. This workshop focuses on the small but meaningful moments where men can make a difference, noticing when something feels off, listening without judgment, stepping in safely, and helping create spaces where boys feel respected, supported, and connected.
MENtors recognizes the important influence men already have in their families, workplaces, schools, sports teams, faith communities, and broader community spaces. The program supports men in strengthening their confidence to recognize changes in boys and young men, respond in supportive ways, and connect young people to resources when needed.
By strengthening positive mentorship and support, men can help build safer communities where boys and young men can grow with confidence, resilience, respect, and leadership.
