She is passionate about educating and empowering individuals to take control of their health journey and recognizes that when we meet each person is at a different stage and usually has room for improvement. Looking beyond the problem to address the whole person treatments are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual whether pregnant woman, infant/child or senior. She has extensive experience working with athletes from all levels; weekend warriors, Olympians, Ironman athletes, marathoners and dancers. She uses a combination of various chiropractic techniques, soft tissue release, acupuncture, orthotics, activator, kinesio taping, strength & stretching programs. She also fits and dispenses medical grade compression socks. In addition to Chiropractic, Integrated Health Connections offers; Registered Massage Therapy, Cupping, Acupuncture, Compression Socks and Orthtoics. A drip and a rattle landed my car at the mechanic’s today and gave me an unexpected chance to enjoy a walk while I waited. How blessed we are to live surrounded by such beauty! 🍂❤️

It also reminded me how easy it is to put off looking after ourselves. Just as we pay attention to an unfamiliar car rattle, our own aches and changes in movement deserve attention too.

Thank you for your support and donations! ❤️ Our September Dog Walking Challenge for Cancer is complete! 🐾

And honestly… thank heavens! Someone lost her enthusiasm for daily walks halfway through the month—apparently, Mom adding an extra kilometre was grounds for protest! 😂🐶

For every donation, we gave or mailed a handmade dog bow tie as a little thank-you. We certainly have some adorable furry friends! Pictured with Winnie are Riley and Daisy. ❤️🎀

What to expect at your first visit

Whether the appointment is for a baby, a child, or an adult, we set aside an hour to get to know you and understand your concerns.

We’ll talk through a detailed health history and complete a physical examination appropriate for the person’s age and needs. I’ll explain what I’m doing, welcome your questions, and discuss what I find.

The purpose of that first visit is to determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate and, together, decide on the next step. Treatment may or may not happen that day.

Hi, I’m Dr. Sarah Racicot! 👋

I’m a chiropractor and the owner of Integrated Health Connections. I’ve been caring for people in Barrie since 2004.

My favourite part of this work is getting to know the person behind the reason they booked - whether child or adult. I want you to feel comfortable telling me what’s going on, asking questions, and being involved in your care. We are a team! I am only as good as your feedback.

My appointments may include soft tissue release, joint mobilization, acupuncture, or an adjusting instrument depending on your assessment and what feels right for you. At the clinic, we also offer massage therapy, shockwave therapy, and custom orthotics.

Whether you’re visiting us for the first time or coming back after a while, you’re welcome here. ❤️

The shoe tray is always a little more colourful on Saturdays! Kids have spines too, and our little visitors love coming in for their tune-ups. We take time to teach them about their bodies and ask how they’re feeling, so they can learn to notice and talk about what’s going on. Always a great day. Love my job and work family. 👟❤️

Love, Love fall cooking! 🍂 Butternut squash and apple soup with oat bread… both made in an hour, healthy, delicious and budget-friendly. Other than buying squash and spurlging on a little light cream we already had everything else on hand. And the house still smells fabulous this morning! Bonus treat today: Toasted oat bread with local honey 🍯 Wishing you all the simple joys that fall brings. ❤️🍁

Thank you to everyone who has supported Winnie and Dr. Sarah’s September Dog Walking Challenge! Mailed and delivered some thank you dog bow ties today! Mom is typically a “fair weather” walker; she use to avoid walking if it was too hot, wet, late or early. This challenge has encouraged her to walk everyday! She added another kilometre this morning and I am not entirely sure how I feel about this increase! I tug to take me home but she’s not getting my hints. ❤️
