You can have the perfect skincare routine and still wonder…

Why is my skin doing THIS?! 😩

Adult breakouts. Dark patches. Dryness. Changes in texture. Skin that seems to shift with your cycle, stress or stage of life.

These changes don’t automatically tell us why they’re happening, but they can give us information.

💫 Hormones, sleep, stress, nutrition, sun exposure, genetics, medications, skincare and your health history can all potentially play a role.

That’s why Dr. Sarah Correa, Naturopathic Doctor, looks beyond what’s happening on the surface. 🫶🏽

Instead of assuming “it’s your hormones,” she asks more questions. What else has changed? How are you sleeping? What’s happening with your cycle? How are you eating? How stressed are you? Are you noticing other symptoms?

Because your skin doesn’t exist separately from the rest of your body.

Sarah can help explore factors that may be contributing, discuss appropriate naturopathic care and recognize when another healthcare provider or dermatologist should be part of your care.

👉🏽 Curious about the changes you’re noticing? Book a free virtual meet-and-greet with Dr. Sarah to see if naturopathic care could be a good fit.

If your Grade 6 or 7 daughter has a skincare routine, a Sephora wish list, or knows exactly what a GRWM is… this one’s for her. 🧴✨

Skincare has become a BIG part of the world our girls are growing up in.

Between TikTok, GRWM videos, influencers, and shelves full of products promising perfect skin, girls are being introduced to skincare at younger ages than ever.

But what does their skin actually need at this age?

As part of our upcoming Girls Empowered Series, we’re welcoming a special guest to one of our sessions: Dr. Sarah Correa, Naturopathic Doctor. 💛 She will be hanging out with the girls and talking all things skin + skincare, in a way that’s fun, age-appropriate and actually relevant to what they’re seeing online.

They’ll chat about things like:

✨ Why their skin may start changing at this age
✨ How hormones can affect their skin
✨ What young skin actually needs
✨ Why more products doesn’t necessarily mean better skin
✨ Skincare trends they’re seeing on TikTok + social media
✨ How to make informed choices about the products they use
✨ What “normal” skin actually looks like, because it probably doesn’t look like the filtered version we see online

And, of course, there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions... without anyone having to share anything personal or uncomfortable.

Because learning how to understand and care for our bodies when we’re young is about so much more than skincare.

At an age when bodies are changing, skin is changing, and confidence is still developing, girls are also being shown a LOT of messages about what they’re supposed to look like.

We want to give them something different:

Accurate information. A better understanding of their bodies. And the confidence to make choices that feel right for them. 🫶🏽

Just one of the conversations happening inside our 8-week Girls Empowered Series for girls in Grades 6 & 7.

Our Nurture Series, a 6-week postpartum support series designed to help you feel seen, heard, and supported during one of the most vulnerable seasons of parenthood, is returning on October 1st.

Led by Registered Psychotherapist Emma Needleman, former midwife and lactation consultant, this small-group series offers compassionate support around:

✨ Postpartum mental health and emotional shifts
✨ Sleep deprivation, fatigue, stress, and overwhelm

✨ Building connection and a strong support network

Most importantly, it’s a space to connect with other parents who understand what you’re going through.

📅 Begins October 1, 2026
👩‍🍼 For women, 0-8 months postpartum
👥 Only 8 spots | New participants only

Last spring, we watched something special happen. 💫

A small group of girls showed up week after week… and left more confident, more connected, and more themselves each time. 🫶🏽

Watching your daughter navigate new friendships, bigger emotions, growing independence, and all the changes that come with this age can leave you wondering how best to support her.

That’s exactly what Girls Empowered is built for.

Led by Alina Naim, Registered Social Worker, and Kayla James, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), this 8-week series provides girls with a safe, encouraging space to connect with other girls their age while building confidence, self-awareness, emotional understanding, and healthy coping skills. 💪🏽

And while important conversations are happening, there’s also time to connect, have fun, laugh, snack, and just be themselves. 💛

GIRLS EMPOWERED • GRADES 6 & 7

“I have an important meeting I can’t miss.” ✨

We love being that meeting people actually look forward to. 🫶🏽

Whether it’s bodywork, movement, stillness, or simply a space to talk it out, every “meeting” here is an hour carved out just for you. And because our team works together, that time is never disconnected from the rest of your care.

Protecting time for yourself isn’t skipping out. It’s showing up for you. 💫

Friendships can feel so much bigger in the teenage years.

One day, everything feels easy. The next, a friendship shifts, a group changes, or suddenly your teen is questioning where they fit.

Add changing emotions, social media, comparison and the pressure to belong, and it can be a lot to navigate.

As parents, we want to help. We want to say the right thing and remind them that this difficult moment won’t always feel this big.

But sometimes, being there for our kids means knowing when to bring another safe person into their circle. 🤍

💫 Seeking extra support doesn’t mean you haven’t been enough. Think of therapy as an extension of the support your family is already giving them.

🌿 That’s one of the reasons we’re so happy to have Kayla James, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), as part of the Evergreen team.

Kayla supports people through life’s transitions, meeting teens where they are and giving them space to navigate relationships, change and all the feelings that can come with growing up. 🫶🏽

Teens are still figuring out who they are. They shouldn’t have to figure it all out alone. 🤍

If your teen could use another safe person in their corner, book a complimentary virtual meet-and-greet with Kayla.

Wait... pumpkin spice lattes in August?? 🎃😧 Where did the time go?! Back to school already?? This is a lot.

One minute it’s summer. The next, backpacks are out, school supply lists are everywhere, and everyone’s asking, “Are you ready?” 🫣 Honestly? Maybe not yet. And that’s okay.

🎒 New classroom, new teacher, new faces
😰 First-day jitters that are very real for kids AND parents
💭 So many big feelings packed into one morning

So how do we help our kids feel brave when we’re quietly nervous too?

✨ We name the feeling instead of rushing past it
✨ We remind them (and ourselves) that nervous and excited can feel the same
✨ We remember we don’t have to have it all figured out alone

Change looks different for everyone in the family. For little ones, it might be extra clinginess or a meltdown out of nowhere. For teens, it might be quieter, more withdrawn, shorter answers than usual. For parents, it’s often just... a lot, held quietly, while everyone else is asking about the kids.

And honestly? Navigating change is so much easier when you’re not doing it alone. Having people in your corner, people who talk to each other and actually know your family’s story, can change everything. That’s kind of our whole thing. 💪🏽
