Post surgical scar work can certainly help with the mobility of the scar and help increase range of motion!

Many people experience chronic pain after surgery. The surgery itself may have been successful and the person may have visibly recovered, but the pain from the surgery can linger for weeks, months or even years. Massage therapy can help relieve post surgical pain and stiffness, and improve physical function after surgery.

Did you know that tight muscles in our forearms can cause pain in our elbows and hands. These muscles are our flexors, extensors and supinator muscles.

These muscles can become irritated when we do a lot of work with our hands, whether that is playing tennis or golf, lifting heavy weights or shovelling a lot of snow. Or just working at our computers.

Give your forearms a good stretch today! You want to make sure your elbow is straight, hold for 30 seconds (unless there is pain, if so decrease the pull and time stretch is held). Silicone cupping, while not for everyone it certainly can be beneficial. Cupping can aid in increasing range of motion, decreasing muscle tension, and help with plantar fasciitis, just to name a few.

The cups work by creating a vacuum between the tissues which helps increase blood flow to the area that are being treated.

Cups are either be left in one spot or moved around the area.
